Marsh Madness is an annual 5K/10K running and walking event to raise funds and awareness for growing youth health challenges and combat the youth obesity epidemic. Marsh Madness is presented by the Palo Alto Family YMCA in collaboration with the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

As a participant or sponsor you are taking action to help our children have better levels of fitness, improved nutrition, and an overall enhanced quality of life. 100% of funds raised go to enhance, advance, and provide access to programs that help local youth and teens be healthy. Contributions will go directly to programs like the YMCA Activate Youth program, which helps 300 underserved students from local elementary schools by providing them with fitness, active games and education about healthy lifestyle choices.

Marsh Madness is supported by a number of local organizations who provide sponsorships and in-kind donations to make our efforts a success.
